Your Role as a Member

As a member of Rich Mountain Electric Cooperative, you are entitled to much more than simply high-quality, reliable electricity.

Rich Mountain exists to serve you and other community members--your family, friends, and neighbors--the people who make their homes here and have genuine interest in helping our community remain a great place to live and work.

You have an important say in how Rich Mountain serves you and the community. You elect the leadership by mail ballot. At our annual meeting, you can participate in the business session. You can make suggestions concerning your cooperative. Our pledge is to continue to meet our community's needs, while maintaining a dependable source of electricity and equipment to distribute it at the lowest possible cost.
