Planned Outage - December 5, 2025

On Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 12:00 AM to approximately 4:00 AM some of Rich Mountain Electric Cooperative members will be experiencing an outage due to switching by AEP/SWEPCO which will affect some of Rich Mountain Electric’s transmission infrastructure. 

The areas being impacted are: Old Dallas, Ink, Yocana, Cherry Hill, Sulphur Springs, Big Fork, Board Camp, Opal, Nunley, Shady, Huddleston, Southside Road, Acorn, and Rich Mountain.
