Planned Outage - December 8, 2025 to December 9, 2025

The planned outage for Friday, December 5, 2025, has been postponed until Monday, December 8, 2025, at approximately 11:59 PM to approximately 4:00 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Some of Rich Mountain Electric Cooperative members will be experiencing this outage due to switching by AEP/SWEPCO which will affect some of Rich Mountain Electric’s transmission infrastructure. This outage could possibly extend up to four hours. The areas being impacted are: Old Dallas, Ink, Yocana, Cherry Hill, Sulphur Springs, Big Fork, Board Camp, Opal, Nunley, Shady, Huddleston, Southside Road, Acorn, and Rich Mountain.
