Rich Mountain Electric Directors receive national credentials
Directors Betty Smith and Buddy Newbolt recently completed the Director Gold Credential Program through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). To earn the Director Gold standing, directors must first earn the NRECA’s Credentialed Cooperative Director Certificate and Board Leadership plus three additional credits from the Board Leadership courses.
The Director Gold credential demonstrates to cooperative members and other stakeholders our ongoing commitment to advancing their knowledge and performing their fiduciary duty to the best of their ability.
